Independent press regulation
for Ireland
We provide a free, fair, and independent service for resolving complaints about newspapers, magazines, and online publications.
How It Works
Our process is free, confidential, and straightforward
Write to the editor
Contact the publication directly about the article and which principle of our Code you believe was breached.
Submit your complaint
Use our online form to tell us what happened. You’ll need the article and your correspondence with the editor.
We investigate
We’ll seek a resolution through conciliation. If that’s not possible, the Press Ombudsman makes a formal decision.
